What can we see / do in or near Reepham

Below is a list of some of our favourite places and things to do locally, both in Reepham and around Norfolk, we hope you enjoy them as well.

The Station Cafe

No trains but lots of food! Breakfasts, lunch, dinner with regular pop-up stalls offering a wide and varied menu.

Distance: 0.5 miles

Bread Source at the Dial House

Local artisan bakery serving freshly baked bread, pastries and savoury snacks with tea / coffee. Eat in or takeaway.

Whitwell and Reepham Railway

Local, enthusiast run railway with short section on track, showcasing diesel and steam engines. Cafe onsite.

Distance: 1.5 miles

The Bug Parc

This isn’t just for kids, if you are a fan of invertabrates this is a must visit destination – Europes largest bug only zoo. Spiders, Mantis and Scorpions all call this park home. A really interesting day out.

Blickling Hall

Beautiful Blickling. An absolute treasure of a stately home. Run by National Trust and on your doorstep, an absolute travesty not to visit. Cafe and second-hand bookshop on site. Stunning at Christmas!

Railway to The Broads and a boat trip

A favourite of ours to impress visiting friends and family. Bure Valley Railway is the real deal. Take a steam train through rural Norfolk to Wroxham Broads. Jump straight on a boar tour of The Broads. An idyllic way to spend a day in Norfolk.

Dereham Leisure Centre – Swimming Pool

If you fancy a swim Dereham is ideal with both a 25M pool with lanes as well as a baby / toddler pool. Family swims on a Saturday between 11:30 and 13:00 is our favourite time, might see you there!

Pensthorpe Natural Park

An ideal day out if you enjoy bird watching and walking. Great for families with an indoor nature themed softplay and outdoor play area. Pensthorpe is a bird watchers paradise set in the heart of rural Norfolk. A beautiful place and one of our favourite local destinations.

Overstrand Beach followed by lunch at the Sea Marge

Overstrand is a huge sandy beach that’s usually relatively quiet, it neighbours Cromer but is far more relaxed. After your cliff walk visit the Sea Marge for lunch or dinner, in the summer sit outside on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Reepham Food Festival

A bit of everything. From sweet treats to nettle soup from the local Scout group. Our food festival is well worth a visit!

Reepham Music Festival

Punching well above its weight, our local music festival has had some amazing headliners over the last few years including Toyah Wilcox, The Hoosiers, Toploader, Neville Staple from the The Specials and Buster Bloodvessel from Bad Manners. Two days of top music in a field behind the market square.

Reepham Festival of Classic Cars

Themes change each year, classics, American and everything inbetween. If you love cars this is one for your calendar!

Reepham Festival of Light

Mulled wine, Christmas trees, mince pies and some more mulled wine. A lovely family event with a incredible atmosphere and mulled wine…
